Communication Materials

Numerous projects have led me to work in a complementary manner on communication materials, supporting the outfitting of a venue for which I designed educational or recreational supports, or as an extension of work on the visual identity of an institution or company.

Context

When designing an orienteering course, a recreational trail, or an educational space, it is often necessary to create paper documents intended to accompany the public. Similarly, when creating a new visual identity for a public authority or company, it is often appropriate to design media materials that will help establish the institution’s new image with the public.

Intention

As an extension of my work on identity, which I develop through the design of installations, the documents I oversee or co-design have been conceived with a spirit of singularity (distinction), coherence with the client’s or project’s installations and/or visual identity, while always responding to a pursuit of effective communication.

Realization

Paper as a medium is a means of artistic expression that transcends its content. Form, folds, cutouts, assemblies, textures, etc., are all creative levers that contribute to the originality and quality of the product.

Symbolic Dimension

A communication document, however modest it may be, can become a vehicle for memory and connection. It crystallizes an identity, conveys an intention, and extends an experience lived in space. Beyond its informative function, it carries symbolic value: that of providing a tangible and sensory trace of a project or institution, which accompanies the public in their understanding and appropriation.

"We called upon Mr. Drabzak for the creation of our graphic charter. Thanks to his advisory skills and creativity, he modernized our visual identity by designing a logo, typography, and communication materials in line with our image. We particularly appreciated his availability, his attentiveness, the relevance of his proposals, and the modernity of the final result."
