“Particularly imbued with a spirit of environmental preservation, the principle of recycling strikes me as an obvious logic of our time. Having come to my craft late in life, it was the creation of monumental sculptures that gave me the opportunity and the taste for it; but it’s a real technical challenge!”

The King’s Mask

Created for the 2018 L’Homme Sauvage Festival, the King’s Mask is a monumental wooden sculpture. As a guardian figure, it embodies the symbolic power of archetypes: a blend of sovereignty, mystery, and ancestral heritage. Installed at the entrance to the site, it was the first sight visitors encountered upon arrival, acting as the guardian of the site and the festival. It establishes a dialogue between the public, the pagan event, and nature.

The Pilgrim

Erected in the heart of the Comminges région for the L’Homme Sauvage Festival, The Pilgrim is a monumental sculpture, 5.30 meters tall, crafted from recycled materials (wood, metal, and fabric). It embodies the female wayfarer – fragile yet powerful – as a symbol of connection to nature and a bond between people.
